Strike up the Band or the Choir, the Opera or the Symphony

Grays Harbor College now sponsors four community music groups during the week. Everyone is welcome to join, new members especially. Auditions are not required, except for Opera Workshop. These are great opportunities to keep your musical talents active or re-activate your musical abilities from a while ago. You may not be in the professional category, but certainly joining one or more of these groups would bring you enjoyment, new friends, something different to do, etc. Each group performs during the year at the Bishop Center.

Here’s our weekly line-up, all rehearsals in the Music Pavilion:

Mondays – GH Symphony Orchestra    7:00 pm,  Conductor Bill Dyer
Tuesdays – GH Civic Choir  7:00 pm,   Director Kari Hasbrouck
Wednesdays – Opera Workshop  7:00 pm,  Director Ian Dorsch

Thursdays – GH Concert Band  6:30 pm,  director Tiffany Maki
