Hello students!
ctcLink – the new and improved student portal – will be available to you on November 18! The My GHC Student Portal will be offline from October 25, 2021 to November 18, 2021 for the transition to the new ctcLink student portal. Please make any necessary changes to your student account by:
- Thursday, October 21, 5:00pm in-person
- Friday, October 22, 3:00pm over the phone
- Sunday, October 24 , 11:59pm online
Remember, Canvas is not impacted by this shutdown.
Do You Need Assistance to Make Changes this Week?
If you need assistance with any student services areas or student support programs during fall quarter, we are here for you in a variety of methods:
- By phone or email: check out our student services and support area directory webpage for each department’s hours of operation, contact methods (email, phone or virtual assistance), and website information.
- In person: All student services and support programs are generally available for in-person, drop-in services Monday-Thursday. Please visit our directory webpage for more information about specific areas and support programs.
Please note, between October 25-November 19, core student services functions will have limited service hours and/or be unavailable to students. Follow the directory webpage for updates.
What Can I Expect as My GHC becomes ctcLink?
- My GHC student portal will not be available online from October 25 until November 18. If you need to access student services during this time period, please visit our department directory.
- Canvas will NOT be impacted by the shutdown of MyGHC on October 25.
- Learn more about ctcLink by going to ctcLink for GHC Students.
- Students will be able to access ctcLink on Thursday, November 18.
- On November 18, we will have additional resources available, both online and in-person, to make sure students can access their ctcLink account and verify their personal information to ensure you can get ready for winter quarter registration.
- Priority registration will begin November 22, followed by current students on November 29 with new student registration beginning December 1. More info will be made available soon about registering for winter quarter classes.
- Cashiering will be unavailable November 8-19; however, an in-person drop box will be available by the cashiering window in the 2000 Building during the college’s normal business hours.
How will I access ctcLink on November 18?
When you log in to the new system on November 18, 2021, you will put in your existing student identification number to receive a new student identification number, called your ctcLink ID. At that time, you will be able to see fall and winter quarter classes offered and all of your student information.
