Location of Support Services & Programs

To find where core student services areas, support programs and functions have been located for the duration of multiple construction projects on the Aberdeen campus, please visit our location of services and programs during construction website.

The Student Assistance Team (STAT) is a great place to get a start with a general question about GHC, computer operations issue or troubles accessing MyGHC and the ctcLink portal, student email, CANVAS or Office 365. Contact a Student Assistance Team representative who will be able to point you in the right direction. Emergency Assistance

GHC offers emergency assistance to students who experience a financial emergency or unanticipated expenses, causing financial hardship. To find out about eligibility requirements, application process and expenses covered by emergency funding, please visit the Emergency Financial Assistance page.

24/7 Virtual Health & Well-Being Services

Students have complimentary access to 24/7 access to virtual care services with TimelyCare – the virtual health and well-being platform from TimelyMD. As part of this services, students have access to the following services: MedicalNow, TalkNow, Scheduled Medical and Counseling, Psychiatry, Self-Care Content and Basic Needs Support. Paying for College

Managing Valuable Information

Enrolled students can manage their schedules, finances and personal info for enrollment services, advising and counseling, transcripts and program completion and other valuable information by visiting MyGHC, the gateway to your ctcLink Portal.

ctcLink Training and Quick Guides

There are a variety of training and quick guides to help you get familiar with our new student management system, ctcLink. To get started, please visit our ctcLink Support for Students website.

Complimentary Groceries

The Associated Students in collaboration with Coastal Harvest and the GHC Foundation operates the Harbor Landing Food Pantry which is available to both students and members of the community free of charge. For more information, including hours of operation, food pantry location and to pick-up your complimentary groceries, please visit the Harbor Landing Food Pantry page.

John Spellman Library

Many of the Library’s products and services are available by visiting Library Website, calling 360-538-4054 or emailing lib-ref@ghc.edu for general library questions. Additionally, students can utilize our 24/7 Chat Reference.

To request a book, journal, DVD or piece of equipment from the Library, you can either fill out this Library Materials Request form or place a hold using the library catalog. Once a request is received, library personnel will follow-up with you about setting up an appointment to pick-up materials.

Accessing Student Email

This is both your log-in for the GHC student portal and the only way moving forward that you will receive college-related information, events, and communicate with staff and faculty. Visit Student Assistance Team Email page to set-up your email account. If you have any problems setting up your account, please contact the Student Assistance Team at studenthelp@ghc.edu.

Bookstore

To get started ordering textbooks, please visit the Bookstore Website. When ordering, you will have an option for in-store pickup or FedEx shipping for an additional fee.

Get Started with Canvas

Canvas is the college’s learning management system. Most courses at Grays Harbor College utilize Canvas. We encourage students to familiarize themselves with Canvas prior to the first day of class to ensure you are prepared. Visit the eLearning Student Information website to set-up and log-in to Canvas.

If any students are having technical problems with Canvas or online issues, please contact eLearning my email at elearning@ghc.edu or get virtual assistance from the Student Assistance Team who will be able to point you in the right direction. This service is available Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
