Business Office Assistant

Job Description

This position provides assistance to the Business Office with daily tasks and special projects.

Typical Duties

  • Perform back up cashier duties
  • Open/sort/stamp and disperse mail
  • Accessing, printing and organizing electronic files
  • Operating office equipment such as computer, calculator, copier, and fax machine
  • Use Microsoft Office suite to produce letters, labels, spreadsheets and reports
  • Perform tasks using problem solving, critical thinking skills
  • Customer service and telephone inquiries
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proactive, independent problem solving skills
  • Ability to stretch, bend, lift and move objects

Eligibility Criteria

  • Enrolled in 6 Credits or More
  • Must be Meeting Standard Academic Progress (SAP)
  • Federal/State Financial Aid processed and awarded in ctcLink
  • Have room in unmet Federal/Cost of Attendance Need money - $2500 Maximum per quarter
