The Native American Classic

Zach Cain, Quinault Tribe and Sophie Blodgett, Shoshone and Yakama Tribe are two of the athletes that will participate in the Native American Classic

This weekend the GHC Athletic Department welcomes in the inaugural Native American Classic. This event will be held at Aberdeen HS. The event tips off, October 19th, with an opening night set of games which features our GHC men and women's programs. The women play at 6 pm and the men play at 8 pm.

October 20th, the Native American Classic shifts into full gear with a basketball camp that will include our student athletes giving back to the youth, of the surrounding communities. The camp will be free to all tribal youth, but inclusive to all groups. The day will close with the men returning to action, at 4 pm.

October 19th

  • 6:00 PM - Native All Stars vs Grays Harbor College  (Women)
  • 8:00 PM - Multnomah University vs Grays Harbor College (Men)

October 20th

  • 10:00 AM - Basketball Camp. 2 Gyms, All Ages. 8 ft. hoops / 10 ft. hoops.
  • 12:30 PM - Guest Speakers for Campers
  • 2:00 PM - Chipper Fam vs Multnomah University (Men)
  • 4:00 PM - Grays Harbor College vs Buckman (Men)

Note: Camp is FREE to all Tribal Members. $20 Registration fee for non-members.

All Campers receive a FREE T-Shirt and FREE Admission to Games.
