  • Understanding risk factors and outcomes of cancer and transplant patients with community and
    hospital-acquired diarrheal pathogens
  • Establishing risk of cytomegalovirus (CMV) in identifiable subsets of allogeneic transplant recipients
  • Understanding the risk of drug resistance and healthcare-associated infections in cancer patients
    undergoing chemotherapy and hematopoietic cell transplant (HCT)
  • Addressing novel methods for the prevention of respiratory viruses in high-risk immunosuppressed
    hosts
