Marketing Work Study

Department Institutional Effectiveness & College Relations (IE&CR)
Job Supervisor Holly Duffy, Director of Marketing & College Relations

Summary Job Description

The Marketing Work Study position offers the chance to gain hands-on experience in social media marketing. This role involves creating posts for the Grays Harbor College primary social media accounts. The Marketing Work Study will have the chance to appear on camera to promote the College, highlight recent events, and interview students, faculty, and staff. While this job requires going on camera frequently to promote GHC, the Marketing Work Study will also spend time working off-camera - for example, photographing areas of campus and events, filming pieces to post on GHC's social media, brainstorming social media posts, researching social media trends, and editing and producing videos and photos. In addition to photo and video production, there is also the chance to develop graphic design and copywriting skills if interested.
