Job Supervisor Nathan Barnes
Job Description
Play a key role in an environment that fosters experimentation, creativity, innovation, and personal expression! Provide office assistance to art instructor, maintain and rotate art studio/lab space, assist instructor in preparing, tracking, and framing student work and installing student exhibition. Additional duties that support the program as needed.
Please note that this position begins in the fall quarter.
Typical Duties
- Typing
- Digital Scanning
- Digital File Management
- Photocopying
- Preparation of artwork for exhibit (training provided)
- Installation and tear down of exhibit
- Maintenance of art studios: inventory, clean desks & sinks, safe keeping
- Management of equipment and supplies
- Record keeping and database management
Qualifications
English 101: enrollment or placement
- Basic word processing skills
- Some skills with digital imaging and graphic design software desired
- Must be punctual and reliable
- HTML and Photoshop knowledge is desirable but not required
- Lifting/moving heavy objects
Hours
- +/- 10 hours per week. Schedule can be worked around class schedule

Eligibility Criteria
- Enrolled in 6 Credits or More
- Must be Meeting Standard Academic Progress (SAP)
- Federal/State Financial Aid processed and awarded in ctcLink
- Have room in unmet Federal/Cost of Attendance Need money - $2500 Maximum per quarter
