Summary Job Description

This position will support the Procurement and Supply Specialist 3 in performing necessary purchasing duties to effectively support GHC staff, students, and community by ensuring efficient use of resources.

Please note that this position begins in the fall quarter. 

Typical Duties

  • Greeting staff, students, and visitors Phone calls, and voicemail
  • Utilizing Word, Excel, and Outlook Sending and responding to emails Adding and modifying suppliers Reviewing requisitions for accuracy
  • Assisting with processing purchase orders
  • Assisting with reviewing purchase card transaction reconciliation Assisting with diversity initiatives
  • Assisting with copier billings
  • Maintaining supplier request list

  • Passion for learning and productivity Able to independently work
  • General knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Customer service experience

Eligibility Criteria

  • Enrolled in 6 Credits or More
  • Must be Meeting Standard Academic Progress (SAP)
  • Federal/State Financial Aid processed and awarded in ctcLink
  • Have room in unmet Federal/Cost of Attendance Need money - $2500 Maximum per quarter
