Summary Job Description

  • Office reception, includes greeting and assisting students, faculty, staff and general public in person, over the phone, via email and in a virtual environment
  • Intake, track, and file documents with a high level of accuracy; this includes scanning and indexing paperwork into a document imaging system
  • Use MS Office suite and Financial Aid Management system s to electronically maintain and update financial aid records.
  • Provide assistance to staff in the Financial Aid Office as needed.

Please note that this position begins in the fall quarter. 

Typical Duties

  • Help with Financial Aid Application
  • Aid students with the completion of required paperwork requested by the Financial Aid Office
  • Assist with document processing
  • General communications - Phone - Email - In -person
  • Electronic filing and scanning of financial aid paperwork
  • Make copies of student paperwork as needed

Employee Qualifications

  • Basic computer skills including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent inter-personal and communication skills
  • Must exercise maturity in dealing with peers and confidential information
  • Able to work independently and follow directions
  • Reliable
  • Attention to detail


Eligibility Criteria

  • Enrolled in 6 Credits or More
  • Must be Meeting Standard Academic Progress (SAP)
  • Federal/State Financial Aid processed and awarded in ctcLink
  • Have room in unmet Federal/Cost of Attendance Need money - $2500 Maximum per quarter
