Maintenance Aid - Campus Operations

Summary Job Description

This position will assist Campus Operations with maintenance, custodial, clerical, and/or grounds work on main campus.

Typical Duties

  • Maintenance – Assist maintenance staff with changing air filters, repairing equipment, painting, office furniture relocation and other duties as assigned.
  • Custodial – Assist staff with general clean up and event set ups and teardowns.
  • Grounds – Assist staff with weed eating. trimming, lawn mowing, and campus beautification.
  • Campus Ops – Assist staff with data entry, receiving of goods, mail delivery and with general office tasks.

Employee Qualifications

  • Able to use hand tools safely.
  • Able to use hand-held power tools safely.
  • Able to climb up and down ladders.
  • Basic computer skills including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must exercise maturity in dealing with peers and confidential information
  • Able to work independently and follow directions
  • Reliable
  • Have a valid driver’s license

Eligibility Criteria

  • Enrolled in 6 Credits or More
  • Must be Meeting Standard Academic Progress (SAP)
  • Federal/State Financial Aid processed and awarded in ctcLink
  • Have room in unmet Federal/Cost of Attendance Need money - $2500 Maximum per quarter
